Why Baba is asking

Jokes aside, I have a loan of ₹60 lakh that I'm determined to pay back. I'm chipping away at it, but a load that size takes a long time to lift alone.

So I'm doing what our elders always did: asking friends, family and kind strangers to chip in a little. All money received here goes toward paying off that loan. No luxuries, no side trips.

Where does the money go?

Straight into my personal account through UPI or Razorpay, and from there toward repaying my ₹60 lakh loan. Nobody in between takes a cut, apart from the small fee Razorpay charges on card payments.

Is this tax deductible?

No. This is a personal gift to an individual, not a registered charity, so there is no 80G receipt. Please give only what feels comfortable.

Is UPI safe here?

Yes. You only ever send money by entering your PIN in your own UPI app. Never enter your UPI PIN to receive money, here or anywhere.

I paid. How do I know it reached?

Your UPI app or Razorpay shows a transaction ID once the payment succeeds. Keep that if you want to mention it to me.
